Home of the West Virginia University men's and women's soccer programs, Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium opened in August 2004, as one of the nation's finest facilities. With a new natural-grass field and a new locker room in 2016, the stadium continues to be one of the NCAA's elite venues.

The stadium, named in honor of a generous gift on behalf of Mr. Dlesk, is a two-level, 1,650-seat stadium that features grandstand bleachers, a spacious five-booth press box, on-site team and official locker rooms, an athletic training room, restrooms and concession stands.

In January 2016, the stadium's sod was removed, and after the surface was laser-leveled to ensure better irrigation and production performance, a new natural grass was laid down, giving the field an iridescent, brand new look. An extensive drainage and irrigation system was already in place to prevent inclement weather from harming the playing surface.

Also for the 2016 season, the stadium saw the addition of a new building which houses a larger home team locker room, an officials' locker room and a soccer-specific athletic training room. Additionally, the existing temporary bench structures were replaced by three permanent buildings to better accommodate the teams and officials.

With unmatched support from Mountaineer fans, the WVU men's and women's soccer teams have turned Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium into one of the toughest venues in the country for a visiting team.

The WVU women boast a 107-17-13 record on their home turf, while the men are 82-27-14.

The Mountaineers have played numerous conference and NCAA tournament matches at Dick Dlesk.

In 2007, WVU set the facility record with an overflow crowd of 3,000 to watch the Mountaineer women battle top-ranked USC in an NCAA tournament Elite Eight match. In 2009, the men established the regular season facility record with a crowd of 2,938 against UC-Santa Barbara.
